Hi, I'm Mattei ︎ -  I’m a Creative Director (Art) & Graphic Designer currently living in ✹ Los Angeles, CA.

I grew up in Brazil, in a loud and lively Italian family full of artists & makers, which is probably the reason I ended up as a designer (and also a fairly decent gelato maker). My passion for graphic design goes beyond creating visual solutions—it's about leveraging the craft to tackle communication challenges in innovative and unconventional ways.

So after winning a young creative competition I went all in and quit my design job for an ad internship at F/Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi Sao Paulo.

Over the last years, I've been lucky to work with amazing people in multiple agencies in São Paulo, Dubai, and Los Angeles, creating work for McDonald’s, Coca-Cola, Toyota USA, ABInbev, Asics, Nestlé, P&G, Google Cloud, among others – some of which has been recognized by some award shows. 

I currently split my time between working as Creative Director Art & Graphic Designer at TBWA CHIAT DAY LA and some fun personal projects for causes I believe in.
